Skeletal muscle research – from cell to human 2019

Dear Colleagues,

Organising committee is pleased to announced Symposium & Workshop ”Skeletal muscle research – from cell to human 2019”. Main aim of symposium & workshop is to present and integrate and the different approaches used in skeletal muscle research and to use an opportunity during the symposium & workshop for networking.

The Symposium & Workshop ”Skeletal muscle research – from cell to human 2019” will be held from 26th -28th May 2019 at the Institute of Pathophysiology (Zaloška cesta 4), University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine.

Please find in attachment symposium & workshop programme with confirmed speakers and plenary lecture held by Prof. Marc Gilbert (France) entitled ” Role of skeletal muscle lipid content in the pathogenesis of insulin resistance of obesity and type 2 diabetes. Where do we stand today?” and Prof. Kathy Myburgh (South African Republic) lecture entitled ”Exosomes in the context of skeletal muscle: from cells to humans”
