Regardless of whether you are using the Thomson Reuters Web of Science for the first time or you are an advanced user, we would like to offer you a hands-on session to facilitate your work with the platform and create a publication strategy.

By the end of 2015 Journal Citation Reports JCR will cease to exist. This product will be replaced by Journal And Highly Cited Data JHCD as the source of enhancing the impact of your published papers. Therefore, you will have access to new normalized indicators for Journals as well for Articles and Institutions.

The use of bibliographic software EndNoteis becoming pivotal in the publication workflow. We will show how to create a personal library of bibliographic references, which you can manage, share and export in a variety of formats, or add directly to a manuscript in a Word document by means of the Cite-while-you-write feature.

The session will address also the use be of author identifiers- for better author name disambiguation with the possibility to create a list of publications indexed in the Web of Science and import external ones. ResearcherIDand ORCID ID, www.orcid.org, are conceived to create unique author identifiers that allow the precise search for all works by a particular author.
