Opće napomene o predmetu i organizaciji nastave

Ciljevi predmeta Školska medicina su osposobljavanje studenta za:


1. prepoznavanje: specifičnih obilježja školske djece i mladih, zdravstvenih potreba ove populacije, rizičnih ponašanja i navika, utjecaja škole i školovanja na zdravlje učenika, osnovnih mjera zdravstvene zaštite s naglaskom na preventivne postupke i zdravstveni odgoj, potrebe specifične zaštite i skrbi za djecu i mlade s posebnim potrebama,


2. provođenje osnovnih postupaka preventivne zdravstvene zaštite kao što su sistematski pregled, probir (screening) važnijih bolesti, kontrolni i ciljani pregled, procjena rasta i razvoja i zdravstveni odgoj (metoda predavanja, radionica i savjetovanje).

Završni kolokvij iz predmeta Školska medicina je pisani esej (1500 riječi) s vrednovanjem „položio/položila“ ili „nije položio/nije položila“.


Esej je odgovor na jedno od pitanja vezano za aktualne probleme školske djece i mladih.
