The Right to Access and Reuse Information

Pursuant to Article 3 of the Act on the Right of Access to Information (Official Gazette 25/13, 85/15 and 69/22), the right to access information for natural and legal persons is regulated through the openness and publicity of the activities of public authorities.

The right to access and reuse information includes the user's right to request and obtain information, as well as the obligation of the public authority to provide access to the requested information, i.e., to publish information regardless of the request when such publishing results from an obligation determined by law or other regulation.

The right to access and reuse information is regulated and exercised in accordance with the Act on the Right of Access to Information (Official Gazette 25/13, 85/15). The Act prescribes the principles of the right to access and to reuse information, limitations of the right to access information and to reuse information, the procedure for exercising and protecting the right to access information and to reuse information.

In accordance with Article 27, paragraph 1 of the Act on the Right of Access to Information Official Gazette 25/13, 85/15 and 69/22), each user has the right to reuse information for commercial or non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

The public authority provides the user with data for unlimited reuse, for free use and in an open format.

Information Officer

The University of Zagreb School of Medicine informs the public via its official website about the documents and information it possesses and which are publicly available in electronic form and can be accessed without making a special request, while access to all other information and documents is achieved by submitting an oral or written request.

The right to access and reuse information is exercised by submitting a request to the Information officer of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in one of the following: ways:
