Association of Alumni and Friends of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine – AMAMUZ (Almae matris alumni Medicinae Universitatis Zagrebiensis)
The objectives and areas of action of the Association are:
- Connecting alumni and friends of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, to promote the reputation and well-being of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia and around the world;
- Gatherings at social and professional meetings, exchange of information, joint scientific, professional, developmental, and publishing projects;
- Preserving the tradition of Croatian universities, in particular the University of Zagreb and the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb;
- Care for the development and progress of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine;
- Nurturing and developing the reputation and ethics of medical profession;
- Influencing the creation of a public, scientific and professional opinion and position in all relevant health matters;
- Encouraging and building networks and cooperations between the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and similar educational, developmental, and research institutions in the Republic of Croatia and the world;
- Establishing and developing cooperation with similar alumni associations in Croatia and the world.
