Croatian Doctor’s Day – February 26th
Today we celebrate the Croatian Doctors' Day as a memory of the day when the Croatian Medical Association was founded - on February 26, 1874. On that day, a group of twenty-one doctors founded the medical society as the eighth medical association in Europe to advance the medical profession.
School of Medicine University of Zagreb educates almost three quarters of all doctors of medicine in Croatia and about 80 percent of doctors of medical sciences, and hereby congratulates all doctors in the Republic of Croatia on their Day!
