Scientists from the Shool of Medicine published a paper with a double Nobel Prize winner
In collaboration with colleagues from the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health, scientists from the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb - Professor Svjetlana Kalanj Bognar, Kristina Mlinac Jerković, PhD and Borna Puljko, PhD - published a paper entitled The Ionizing Zwitterionic Oxime Antidote Attenuates Gliosis in Mice Exposed to Sarin in the prestigious journal Chemico-Biological Interactions.
The paper is based on the evaluation of the antidote RS194B, which is used in the treatment of poisoning with the nerve agent sarin, and one of the co-authors is the double Nobel Prize winner Professor Karl Barry Sharpless.
Congratulations to all collaborators on this research and the published work!
