Professor Ivica Lukšić, Ph.D., Appointed to the Editorial Board of “The Laryngoscope” Journal
The Head of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology at the School of Medicine University of Zagreb and the Head of the Department of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at Dubrava University Hospital, Professor Ivica Lukšić, Ph.D., has been selected for the editorial board of the prestigious American journal in the field of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery, The Laryngoscope.
The Laryngoscope is one of the highest-ranked journals in its category, being placed in the first quartile (Q1) according to the 2023 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), which confirms its significance and impact in the scientific community. The journal is also indexed in prestigious databases such as Current Contents Clinical Medicine and Science Citation Index Expanded.
Professor Lukšić is a recognized expert in the field of oncological head and neck surgery, the author of numerous scientific and professional publications, and the author of the textbooks "Maxillofacial Surgery" (Naklada Ljevak, 2019) and "Maxillofacial Surgery" (Naklada Ljevak, 2023), the latter being the first such textbook in our country for medical students in English.
