The first lecture was held in the renovated Pathology building
After four full years, the first lecture was held in the building of the Department of Pathology of the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb.
As a reminder, the pathology building at Šalata 10 was destroyed in the Zagreb earthquake in March 2020. After the emergency restauration in the summer of the same year and the "Petrinja" earthquake on December 29, 2020, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic, classes were not held in the building.
In March 2023, the complete reconstruction of Pathology began, financed by the National Program for Recovery and Resilience and the European Union Solidarity Fund, which was carried out in 16 months.
We believe that the newly renovated premises of the Pathology building will contribute to a higher quality of teaching and the satisfaction of all our students and scientists.
