Release of Glutamate via Exocytosis from Healthy and Malignant Astrocytes
on Friday, 24 November at 12 p.m., in the H2 hall (Croatian Institute for Brain Research, Šalata 12, 1st floor)
The lecture will be followed by a discussion and informal round table on the particularities of research in the USA, China and Croatia, during which the examples of good practices in scientific excellence will be highlighted.
Prof. Parpura's work is significant for the understanding of the nervous system disorders and overall human health. He published more than 150 scientific publications, co-authored two books, and was one of the editors of five books dealing with astrocytes.
