Information communication services generate business savings. They are visible in energy savings, paper, weather, transport costs, etc. It produces information, stores it and keeps it permanently in order to propagated dissemination and creation of knowledge. It is the basis for today's primary form of production and directly participates in building an information, communication, and scientific society.

The IT Department ensures the functionality of the IT system as a whole. Monitors and manages the IT system. Ensures uninterrupted service. Keeps and coordinates user data bases. Assigns and cancels different levels of user rights depending on the user job requirements and Security Policy.

The IT Department consists of the following divisions:

• Networks
• Teaching and TCR (teleconferencing room)
• Servers (UNIX, Windows)
• IT Support (Helpdesk)
• Hardware Support
• Training
• IT System Security
