The authority and scope of the Quality Promotion Committee are:
- Encouraging development programmes to promote a culture of quality, in accordance with the international, national and university standards, criteria and procedures;
- Consultation and coordination of all bodies at the leadership and decision-making level, governance and oversight level, and bodies at the level of implementation of quality assurance measures;
- Planning of the internal evaluation process of the quality system of the School, including the analysis, proposal of the action plan and its monitoring in cooperation with the Agency for Science and Higher Education and the University of Zagreb Quality Committee and the Office for Quality Assurance;
- Presentation of the School in a national and international network for promoting quality culture and quality assurance.
The specific tasks of the Committee are:
- Planning and proposing guidelines and procedures as well as fostering active participation and innovation in promoting quality culture and ensuring systems at the School;
- Developing methods for exploring different aspects of quality in the field of biomedicine and health sciences from the perspective of external and internal stakeholders;
- Developing quality indicators in accordance with the specific needs of the School;
- Providing active support to the School's organizational units in the application of quality standards, encouraging self-analysis, application of quality improvement measures, and exchange of good practice experiences;
- Annual planning and implementation of internal audit procedures, together with a report, a proposal for an action plan, and monitoring of implementation in the quality assurance system of the School.
