The Department for Postgraduate Studies performs the following activities:

• Performs professional and administrative tasks related to the proposals for postgraduate study programmes,
• Performs professional tasks for the preparation of study curricula
• Participates in the preparation of materials for the development of manuals for postgraduate students,
• Keeps records of completed classes and examinations,
• Collects all necessary documentation on students and exams for the student file,
• Performs professional tasks to the competent committees and boards for postgraduate theses and scientific research titles,
• Prepares expert materials for the Faculty Council meetings,
• Performs professional administrative tasks for the entrance exam,
• Enrols students in postgraduate studies,
• Participates in the preparation of materials for continuing medical education courses,
• Participates in the preparation of contracts for postgraduate students and participants in continuing medical education courses and in contacting all interested students and educational bodies involved in continuing medical education courses,
• Performs professional activities of student promotion and issuing certificates and diplomas,
• Performs all other professional and administrative tasks important for conducting postgraduate studies, continuing medical education, and specialisations.
