Medical Ethics

The aim of Medical Ethics is to familiarise the students with the principles of medical ethics and bioethics, with responsibilities towards the patient, society, colleagues and themselves during their medical studies and later during their careers. They must learn: how to inform the patient about his or her rights and obligations; how to discover the ethical aspects of medical decisions related to the treatment of patients; and how to analyse the ethical problems that arise as a result of medical practice and make decisions related to the ethical aspects of medical work.
