Andrija Štampar Summer Educational and Tutoring School (ASSETS)
Public Health Mentoring Summer School
The Andrija Stampar Summer Educational & Tutoring School (ASSETS) is an international mentoring summer school designed for early-career public health professionals, researchers, and students who want to strengthen their leadership, policy, and problem-solving skills in today’s complex public health environment.
Organized at the School of Public Health Andrija Stampar, School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, the programme brings together participants and mentors from across Europe and beyond for an intensive week of learning, collaboration, and professional development.
Why ASSETS?
Today’s public health challenges require more than technical expertise. Professionals are increasingly expected to translate research into policy, lead change, work across sectors, and address health inequities in rapidly changing social and political contexts.
ASSETS supports participants in developing these competencies through:
- Mentoring from leading European and global public health experts
- Interactive workshops and case-study activities
- Peer-to-peer learning and collaboration
- Practical problem-solving sessions
- Participant presentations and networking opportunities
